Hello,
I have never been to France and this is my first visit to Paris this April over the Easter.
Being in London, I have bought American Express Travellers Cheques nominated in Euros .
Can please anyone advise me on where I could encash my cheques at a lesser or zero comission? (is this Banque la Postale, a post office? will BNP Paribas or Societie Generalitet charge a fee?)
and what is the best place: bank/travel agency to buy GBP pounds sterling when I go back to London?
Your answers are much appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Many thanks
Stacey

almost every bank does traveler cheques conversion.
of course with a fee.
but i cant tell you which one got the lowest!
you may also wanna go to post-office ... but avoid it unless you speak french.
of course ... be carefull with any "friendly" proposal you would get on this forum.
bank is the safest place where to change traveler cheques.
