Bonjour,

I'm an engineer that has been working in France for 3 years and 2 months. I was notified this January that my contract will be over on the end of February. I've been reading the Syntec convention but it's not very clear for me (my french is not very good).

In each post I've been reading in this page I've seen different answers, which is not better. How can I calculate my indemnité after all this time working? What is the monthly salary I should take into account for the calculation? The average salary per month of the last year or the salary perceived right the last month of contract? (February)

Thanks for your answers.

Hi,

your monthly salary is the total of yours salaries during the 12 months before the date of the end of your contract, with all the gratifications but without the overtime and gratifications for journeys, travels... divided by 12. the amount of the "indemnité" is this amount multiply by 1/3 by year of work and for non completed year pro rata.

This is Syntec legislation for engineers.

I hope my english is not too bad, I'm not used to write.
